Sakson “Saks” Rouypirom

Saks graduated from NYU with a degree in psychology/pre-med. After moving back to Thailand, he founded SATI, a non-profit that focuses on healthcare and education in underserved areas of Thailand and beyond. He chose the name SATI, which means mindfulness, because he believes that problems should be solved with mindfulness rather than just simple blinded actions and is doing so through a scholarship program for underprivileged youths and a mobile medical initiative that provides preventive medical education to underserved areas. Saks is also one of the co-owners of Broccoli Revolution, a modern vegan restaurant and cold-pressed juice bar, through which he’s able to merge business with social change by donating a percentage of sales to the help fund SATI programs and developing organic vegetable farms for underserved hilltribe youths.
