The team met at university and became best friends first, business partners second.Their remarkable success in the realm of formal Thai dining is the result of their unbreakable relationship and a drive to create something new from something loved. The continued progress proves that the way forward could be going back.

Forever putting food and experience first, Duangpornand Dylan have consistently opened establishments as and where needed. The first joint project of the couple,bo.lan, began with a long-held faith in the recipes of the past. Duangporn and Dylan Jones brought traditional,impeccably-researched home cooking into a fine-dining environment that feels immediately familiar, as if welcoming diners as guests in their home. A commitment to the traditions of their collected recipes sees the menu at bo.lan change to reflect the seasons, and a slow food philosophy extends beyond the plate with the team’sdesire to reduce the environmental impact of the establishment.

Bo.lan has pledged to become a carbon-zerorestaurant by 2018, an accolade to add to the growing list earned by the operators, including a place onSan Pellegrino’s Best Restaurants in Asia list in 2015. In 2016, Duangporn and Dylan Jones launched Err, a space layered with old-school Thai charm and comfortably recognizable dishes. The cheeky restaurant emphasises the fun of dining out, encouraging visitors to stay, play, and - most importantly - drink. With each new offering from the powerhouse culinary couple, Bangkok diners gain a second, or third, home.
